Overview
The Autumn/Winter Catalogue 2019 is Connect Distribution's seasonal product catalogue, showcasing an array of exclusive products and highlighting the latest partnerships with top manufacturers. This catalogue serves as a comprehensive guide for independent home appliance retailers, providing them with access to premium products and innovative solutions.
Results
The distribution of the catalogue was extensive, reaching retailers all across the UK. Impressively, it successfully reached 90% of independent home appliance retailers, significantly enhancing their ability to offer the latest and most exclusive products to their customers.
Challenge
My role in this project was to tackle the design challenge of creating a complete catalogue cover that would captivate and engage our audience. Collaborating closely with the Senior Designer, I was also involved in the intricate design of several product pages, ensuring that each layout was visually appealing and effectively communicated the product information.
The Catalogue
The catalogue was created in partnership with prominent brands in the small domestic appliances industry, including Lavazza, Vax, Miele, Samsung, Kenwood, Braun, and many others. These collaborations brought together a diverse range of high-quality products, from state-of-the-art coffee machines by Lavazza to advanced vacuum cleaners by Vax and innovative home appliances by Samsung.
Partnerships
Due to the strong partnership between Connect Distribution and Lavazza, I was given the task of designing a special feature page for the new Lavazza Compostable Eco Caps. Utilizing the key brand assets provided by this iconic Italian brand, I created a design that prominently showcased their 100% compostable Eco Caps product.
Leveraging Lavazza's rich visual and branding elements, I crafted a layout that not only highlighted the environmental benefits of the Eco Caps but also stayed true to Lavazza's esteemed aesthetic. The page design focused on the sustainable nature of the product, emphasizing its compostable features and eco-friendly packaging. By integrating Lavazza’s distinctive imagery and color schemes, the feature page effectively communicated the brand’s commitment to sustainability while maintaining a visually appealing and cohesive look.
